Denise (Brace) Bachiochi established herself as one of the most formidable post players in New England during her basketball career with the Falcons. Brace was the first student-athlete in Albertus basketball history – for either gender – to amass both 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Brace, who finished her career with 1,269 points and 1,090 rebounds, earned First-Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Brace was also named to the GNAC All-Tournament Team twice and was a member of 1994-95 NEWAC Championship squad that reached the ECAC Tournament finals. Brace’s 380 rebounds in 1995-96 remain a single-season program record as of her induction.
