The full process behind the creation of my latest original NOLAN design. This piece is a pendant in 18k yellow gold, handmade and hand fabricated from start to finish. At the center sits 24.85 carat zircon, originally cut over 100 years ago and recut to maximize brilliance, dispersion, and light return. The stone is surrounded by mixed size diamonds arranged in a design that evolved organically throughout the fabrication process. This pendant is a study in classical goldsmith techniques, gem cutting, and hand fabrication, featuring techniques practiced and refined over centuries and executed entirely by hand. 📍 Crafted at Deep River Jewelry / NOLAN Fine Jewelry, based in Connecticut.
