Darien jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Andriv Grevara drew a walk, scoring one run, Ryan Sweeney tripled, scoring three runs, Joe Cavelo singled, scoring one run, Colin Tomazewski tripled, scoring two runs, Colby Comfort doubled, scoring one run, Parker Sheridan tripled, scoring one run, and Jamie Charney grounded out, scoring one run.
Wilbur Cross Varsity Governors scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Aiden Casillas drew a walk, scoring one run, Rayvel Quezada doubled, scoring three runs, and Zavion Mcrea doubled, scoring two runs.
