At 10,600 feet of elevation, a tragic accident occurred when a snowcat broke through 30 inches of ice on Island Lake, claiming two lives. The team at Adventures with Purpose undertook the dangerous mission to retrieve the machine from the lake bottom, 70 feet below the surface.
