Sheehan opened the scoring in the first after an error scored one run.

William Santiago doubled to center field, which helped Wilbur Cross Varsity Governors tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Sheehan jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning after Preston Cantele walked, Cam Casson singled down the left field line, and Casson stole home, each scoring one run.

Anthony Malone earned the win for Sheehan. The hurler gave up five hits and one run over five innings, striking out four and walking three. Janiel Montero took the loss for Wilbur Cross Varsity Governors. The southpaw went three innings, giving up six runs (four earned) on two hits, striking out five and walking six.

Santiago went 3-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Wilbur Cross Varsity Governors turned one double play in the game.

Casson led Sheehan with two hits in three at bats. Gavin Rainey, Cantele, Casson, and Wil Colonese each drove in one run for Sheehan. Colin Westbrook led Sheehan with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Casson and Westbrook each stole multiple bases for Sheehan. Sheehan ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. Sheehan turned one double play in the game.
